After graduating from Leeds University with a degree in Economics, I have worked as a Financial Adviser since 2007. In 2013, I established my own financial planning practice on Alma Vale Road in Clifton, Bristol, in collaboration with a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants. Although the Practice has since relocated, the name remains as a tribute to our beginnings. Many of our clients joined us during our time on Alma Vale Road or were referred through connections made there.

Regularly attending year-end and strategy meetings with the accountants gave me extensive knowledge of the challenges small business owners face in their businesses and finances, and an in-depth understanding of business taxation and how to structure the affairs of business owners and entrepreneurs efficiently.

In 2016, I earned the Certified Financial Planner designation, recognised as the benchmark qualification for top-tier financial planning professionals. I am also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and our two young children. On the weekends you’ll often find me on my mountain bike in Wales or the Forest of Dean.
